Rooted in Science,
Growing a Sustainable Future

Reform Bio’s core technology was developed in collaboration with researchers and PhDs at the Iowa State University Bioeconomy Institute, a global leader in carbon materials and agricultural systems innovation. Our patented methods draw on years of bench-scale research, pilot greenhouse studies, and grant-supported technology development.

Through this partnership, we’ve created a new class of biochar-based, slow-release fertilizers designed to meet the dual challenge of nutrient efficiency and environmental stewardship. ISU remains a key R&D ally as we scale up to field trials and commercialization.

Reform Bio is proudly built on science born in Iowa State.

Our Mission

At Reform Bio, our mission is to transform biowaste into essential, sustainable solutions that regenerate the planet. From nourishing crops to fueling industries and reducing reliance on carbon intensive practices, we are committed to creating a resilient future where waste is a resource, and sustainability is the standard.
